Ghulam Abbas Chatha (late) Advocate High Court (1949 – 2007) is our very Respectable Senior. He was born in 4th March, 1949 and started his carrier in the field of law in 1977.
He was very prominent and well known Lawyer in the field of Income Tax all over Pakistan and a very knowledgeable person. He was very active member of District Bar Association (DBA), Rawalpindi. He was elected as Member Executive of High Court Bar Association (HCBA) Rawalpindi and also elected as Vice President of All Pakistan Tax Bar Association (APTBA). He was the Founder Member of Rawalpindi-Islamabad Tax Bar Association (RITBA) and served the Bar as Secretary General and was also elected as President of Rawalpindi-Islamabad Tax Bar Association. He presented successfully number of cases of his clients before High Court & Appellate Tribunal Inland Revenue, Commissioner Inland Revenue (Appeals) and Other Concerned Authorities. He represented many appeals and their judgments were reported in National Journals like Taxation and PTD.
